Made in the late 1960’s to early 1970’s, using a 1959 pattern, this smock is a true testament to the artistry of British design.
Featuring a captivating camouflage pattern, ribbed cuffs, tail flap, stud fasteners and full zip. Inside the body the main label reads 'Camouflage' along with the NATO code, ‘size 1’ information and manufacturer details ‘H.E. Textiles LTD’.
The material and stitching show some signs of wear through its many adventures, including fading of the stud fasteners, small hole to the outer right hand sleeve, near the inner right hand sleeve near the cuff, minor staining to the left hand waist pocket, as well as the odd loose thread. A piece with a story to tell, and a journey to continue.
The piece can be left untouched to preserve the historical aspects of the jacket, or we can make minor repairs to the smock upon request.
