Introducing The Bristol Clifton Bridge Brown Denim Jacket, with its practical design and relaxed nature. Offering a multiseasonal style through its throw-on appeal, sturdiness, ease of use patch-pocketing, and straightforward appearance.

As similar to a pair of versatile jeans, the denim jacket is a piece of outerwear that has evolved from its workwear roots into an everyday staple.

Expertly crafted into a timelessly handsome package, with a cut and and details which appeal to the contemporary gentleman. This jacket incorporates signature details such as a button-up front, patch pockets, inside pocket, front placket, contrasting stitching and refined silhouette.

Constructed with a premium denim fabric weight of 16oz and featuring heavy gauge contrast stitching, this exquisite jacket incorporates selvedge edge detailing to the inside placket.

Hand sewn in a small tailoring workshop owned by Hannah and Eloise within South West, England. A professionally led independent business, which encourages an ethical approach to the garment industry, and maintains a traditional outlook to tailoring services.

A piece of outerwear evolved over the centuries, The Bristol Denim Jacket is a testament to the timeless and functional style that serves an everyday purpose. The Bristol Clifton Bridge Brown Denim Jacket can be worn well over a crisp white shirt for a formal look, over a woollen sweater as part of a cosy outfit, or simply worn over a brushed cotton shirt for a laid-back look.

The garment can be washed and cared for as normal denim, by using a cold machine wash. In order to preserve the versatile nature and maintain the longevity of the piece, tumble dry low if required and do not use bleach substances. Warm iron for the best finish.

Fox Brothers, the English woollen mill established in Somerset in 1772 is credited with being the originator of fine woollen and worsted flannels during the last century and is still said to produce the best in the world. According to style connoisseurs, when choosing flannel, “always be sure to ask for it (Fox) by name”.

Fox Brothers first developed ‘flannel’ in 1803 and to quote Esquire magazine, is still the “Standard Bearer” for this wonderfully soft cloth. Loved by tailors who appreciate the way it cuts "like a good butter', this wonderfully soft cloth has evolved over many years and is now available as suit lengths in varying designs and weights, exclusively on The Merchant Fox.
